Chun Jiyoon

Media artist, JiYoon Chun was majoring in environmental sculpture, after she studied she graduated from Columbia College Chicago with Photography and Advertising Arts. She also graduated from School of Visual Arts in design major(M.F.A) and she received a doctorate in engineering from Sogang University in Seoul Korea. It seeks to explore creative and differentiated visual methodologies, and studies convergent visual language in the areas of art, design and technology. Especially she wants to see augmented reality as a reality that has a structure that is disassembled into reality and virtually, and as another reality that is reorganized by the viewers, and creates an interaction structure within the relational situation with the other, that is, the viewers. She tries to present the

existence of the self as such a relational situation in order to contemplate the existence of the self in a relative relationship. Art based on digital technology is intended to be developed as content in everyday life. By conducting interdisciplinary research using computer vision-based technology and sensors/interfaces, we are mainly researching and developing interactive media contents based on AR technology such as culture and arts education contents, digital cultural heritage contents, and mobile art. From 1995 to the present, she has shown her works in a number of solo and group exhibitions.
